TANNAT
- Tasting Notes - 2004 ( notes )
The Tannat wine has a bright Garnet hue graduating to an excellent depth of brick red colour.
The nose is lifted, exhibiting complex floral, quince, strawberry and spice characters that are well integrated after 2 years maturing in American oak Barriques.
The palate is powerful, showing sun dried prunes coupled with cedary cigar box characters. The wine is well balanced and finishes with fine long tannins.
